Our story is one of sustainability

When your closet simply can’t sustain another tournament t-shirt, it’s time to clean it out. At least, that’s the idea that inspired Pros Fore Clothes Foundation’s Co-Founders, Charlie and Lauren Schuyler. A lifelong love of the game meant their closet was filled with more Penn State golf polos from their college days and quarter zips from past gigs as head pros than they knew what to do with.

But throwing it all away wasn’t sustainable. Billions of pounds of discarded clothing pollute our planet each year, and weren’t there people out there that could actually put those clothes to use? For Lauren and Charlie, the solution was simple.

We are Pros Fore Clothes. Our mission is to sustain our planet by sustaining communities in need. A family in crisis after a natural disaster. A single dad with no school clothes for his children. A woman with no home, and no clothes for her job interview. We know what a difference having clothing can make in someone’s life. And, we believe that protecting our planet is a priority.

From clothing manufacturers donating their excess clothing production, to collecting lightly worn golf apparel in local communities, and all that falls in between—we’re on a mission to save a million pounds of clothing from landfills, and donate it to people who deserve to feel dignified and uplifted by the clothes on their backs.
